Our ministry for children meets in its own comfortable and secure area. Nursery and pre-school children are invited to their rooms before the service. We release elementary kids after our time of worship. Our junior and senior high youth stay with us during the whole gathering.
Our youth group meets on Tuesday nights. We share a meal, serve our community, play a few games, talk about our lives and Jesus and pray. We do several other big things every year, like the Cloud 9 Youth Retreat in October and the Summer of Service in the Summer. There are also other chances to serve and hang out. If you'd like to get involved, we'd love to have you join us!

"Come as you are and you'll be loved." On any given Sunday there are all kinds of people in our church building. You'll find us wearing normal clothes, using regular words (not a bunch of religious jargon), and laughing a lot. We try to take God seriously, but not ourselves too much. We try hard to relate to God in real ways, not be religious or follow rules. We're working hard to cultivate an environment where normal people can meet with God. And we definitely won't pressure you to do something you're not authentically ready to do.
Oh, and there's always coffee (and other drinks) and tasty snacks both before and after the service.

Before and after the gathering, there is always plenty of time for relationship. We recognize that the "church" is the people.
We begin with a time for worship. For 30-35 minutes we sing, pray, even sometimes sit in silence, as we honor God and connect with His presence. Some people may raise their hands, cry, clap, or even dance a little. Don't feel pressured to do the same. These are just some biblical ways that some people respond to God. Our worship climaxes in celebrating communion, remembering Jesus' death and resurrection.
We then catch up on what's happening. Connecting with what's going on in the church. This includes a more "formal" welcome, sharing of community news, and an invitation to give an offering.
We then enter a time for God's Word. Having met with God, we want to hear what He is saying to us. The 30-35 minute sermon connects the Bible to our everyday lives, in ways both practical and profound.
We conclude with a time for response. God's Message is powerful and able to change us. We may respond in repentance, in seeking healing and freedom, in being empowered. Always we respond by being sent out to be the Church in the world.
The whole thing lasts about 90 minutes.
